A Mission Born from Necessity
Shiora emerged from a simple yet profound realization: half the world's population has been systematically underserved by healthcare systems designed without them in mind.
Women receive less than 5% of healthcare R&D funding. They wait an average of seven to ten years for conditions like endometriosis to be diagnosed. They experience menopause, a universal life stage affecting one billion women by 2025, largely without clinical support. They navigate pregnancy, fertility challenges, and aging with fragmented care that fails to see them as whole people.
We asked ourselves: what if we could build healthcare from the ground up with women at the center? What if we could combine the most powerful technologies of our era, AI, blockchain, quantum computing, and spatial intelligence, not incrementally, but in true convergence?
Shiora is the answer to that question. We're building a platform that honors the cyclical, longitudinal nature of women's health. A platform that puts women in control of their data. A platform that connects the dots across life stages, from fertility to longevity, creating one coherent health home.
